These photos go with the post about the Wei family from last month. Life in the mountains was beautiful in its simplicity at the time, although I am aware that as a tourist you can choose to dip in and out. You don't worry about finding education for your kids or finding enough food. I'm sure that now the snow has arrived in Northern China, life there is more difficult. All the same, I hope to be able to return to see the Weis once the weather warms up again.
